Builders Guild: 1 year, 1 month ago · ViewDoes anyone know how to set up an achievement to be unlocked (or to give cube points) if a post is liked or if an image is uploaded? I was looking at the achievement conditions and the cube points triggers, and it doesn’t seem like the option is integrated . . . any suggestions?
Haven’t seen that yet. I’ve been on a lookout for something similar, so let me know if you find something.
Shouldn’t it be automatic? If not I believe the only other way to give achievements like that is individually. but there should be an automatic system.

Indeed, I was looking there – it’s just that none of the triggers for granting the achievement match the conditions our group wanted to set.
well then you will have to set it as an award for the admin to give out to the player rather than it automatically rewarding the user.
That’s our backup plan, but if this sort of problem persists, our game is essentially going to end up being forum D&D with our team as the DMs . . . which really isn’t going to be much building. @Anastasia – I don’t know if you’ve been checking here in the last few days, but any help finding a mod of the achievement system that allows for automatic distribution of awards with more specific conditions would be greatly appreciated.
I’m afraid that as far as I’ve found, that plug-in doesn’t exist. You can look at the automated awards in the CubePoints system as well–look under both the buddypress settings and the main settings–and see if you can find something close to what you want. You can also use the karma feature in plug-ins that allow rating posts and make that another public attribute to reward people for positive feedback. Don’t worry if you can’t automate something for class purposes though, you can always set it as an admin-given award that you would ideally code a solution for later if the site went more public.
