Social Media and Games

A game that is classic for me that is probably shared for others is Pokemon. Pokemon Blue, Yellow, Gold/Silver, and Platinum personally stole my life from age 8 to age 13.

For me, my classic games are probably a lot different than others. My classic games are WWF Royal Rumble, TMNT: Turtles in Time, and Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo.

I think a classic game is any game that signifies a landmark period, a game that as soon as you hear the name, the music, or see the game running, you’re transpoted back to the time when you loved it.

I think any game that is at least 10-15 years old and more is considerend a classic game. Partly because the graphic technology and gameplay is always changing.

I agree with all of those with the exception of ratchet and Clank.

A classic game (by my definition) is either an older generation of game that was well known or recognized as such or a game that has been recognized and had an original gameplay element. Goldeneye, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Ratchet & Clank are example of games that I consider classic of an older generation [...]

I think pretty recent games can also be considered classic. Halo is undoubtedly a classic game. So are the first 3 Resident Evil games. ((4 is still questionable)).

I don’t think classic games specifically need to be “old” games. I find games such as Ico or Demon Souls to be classic. Those games are often referred to and are sought after often.

A classic game is most likely a game from first generation consoles that people do not forget and is still played or referred to today. A game that is so good, that it is constantly referenced. Super Mario is classic, but so is Final Fantasy 7. Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter are classic, but Dead [...]
