Mortal Kombat!: 1 year, 5 months ago · ViewPersonally, I would love for them to actually get the backing a comic book movie would get. Overwhelmingly, video game movies are still low-budget and straight-to-DVD. Video games are very profitable, and the stories have gotten good enough that I think it’s time that video games get the big budget movie treatment that comic books [...]

Deconstructing Games: 1 year, 5 months ago · ViewA good way to gain interest is to take the protagonist and antagonist, and switch their alignment. Take the protagonist and make him evil or malicious; likewise, take the antagonist and make heroic and/or noble.

Deconstructing Games: 1 year, 5 months ago · ViewFor an interesting antagonist, you can make them the relatable character. It makes it harder for the audience to pass judgment on them, and also makes it harder for the viewer to root against them. If done right, they can even gain a few fans.

mmrichter posted on the forum topic What elements can make games more entertaining than movies? in the group
Deconstructing Games: 1 year, 5 months ago · ViewI think games can be more entertaining than movies, because it’s easier to feel connected to the characters. When they accomplish something, [...]
